This concert will also feature Sukeroku Daiko, one of the original Japanese drumming ensemble groups to perform taiko outside of religious and theater settings. They popularized the naname-dai style of taiko drumming in the 1960s. They will be donating their time to join us on stage to perform some of their original taiko songs as well as collaborate with us on joint pieces.
