Join us and The Compass Quintet, a groundbreaking ensemble of woodwind instrumentalists hailing from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. The group performs original arrangements of jazz standards featuring saxophones, clarinets, flutes, and vocals. Their second album “A Very Compass Christmas: Winter Winds Blow” comes out December 8 and features legendary saxophonist Dick Oatts and vocalist Jackie Johnson. The group’s members are Allen Green on piccolo, flute, clarinet, soprano saxophone, and alto saxophone; Andrew Gioannetti on flute and alto saxophone; Noah Barr on flute, clarinet, tenor saxophone, and voice; Anthony Singer on clarinet and tenor saxophone; and Zach Spondike on flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, and baritone saxophone.
