Is Medea funny? Are actors tragic?
Set during a company’s final run-through of the ancient tragedy, PURE MEDEA follows contemporary actors as they create their own interpretations of Euripides’ play of marital discord, intertwining the machinations of Medea’s revenge upon her husband with the smaller tragedies—and petty rivalries—of the performers’ personal and professional lives.
